Our Father
"Father to the fatherless, defender of widows— this is God, whose dwelling is holy.
6 God places the lonely in families; He sets the prisoners free and gives them joy. I will not leave you as orphans; I will come to you. I will not leave you nor abandon you. I knew you before I formed you in your mother’s womb. He found them in a desert land, in an empty, howling wasteland. He surrounded them and watched over them; he guarded them as the apple of his eye. Fear not, for I am with you; be not dismayed, for I am your God; I will strengthen you, I will help you, I will uphold you with my righteous right hand. For I know the plans I have for you, declares the LORD, plans to prosper and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future. I have told you all this so that you may have peace in me. Here on earth, you will have many trials and sorrows. But take heart, because I have overcome the world"
Our Father in heaven, we bless you because You are faithful. You are true to Your Word. Your Word is a love letter to us guiding us through this troubled world. We thank You that You embrace us through our lonely season of life and You will never abandon us. We love you Father, that regardless of our many mistakes, You see us as the apple of Your eye. We are precious in Your sight, and nothing can separate us from Your love. Thank You for the hope we have in You, even when the road ahead seems unclear. You meet us in the dry and barren places of our hearts, tenderly loving us and drawing us back to Yourself. You are the God of the impossible a Father who will never leave us or abandon us. Thank You that You are with us and You heal our broken hearts, o LORD, that we may no longer be a prisoner to the pain and emptiness that dwells within. Your joy gives us strength and in You we are complete. Let us bless You as You so lovingly deserve. In Jesus' mighty name we thank You for being our Father!
