Rest For My Soul

        

Truly my soul finds rest in God... Truly He is my rock and my salvation; He is my fortress; I will never be shaken... Yes, my soul, find rest in God; my hope comes from Him.  Truly He is my rock and my salvation; He is my fortress; I will not be shaken.  My salvation and my honor depend on God; He is my mighty rock, my refuge.  Trust in Him at all times, you people; pour out your hearts to Him, for God is our refuge...and with you, LORD, is unfailing love.

Psalm 62:1, 2, 5-8

Father, I bless You that You have drawn me by Your Spirit.  In You alone do I find rest for my weary soul.  Because of You, I have life, hope and strength to face each waking day.  Thank you for making Yourself known to me, for seeking me out and revealing Your Truth that I may know true love, true peace, true comfort.  No, this world will never be perfect, and life will always have its disappointments.  But You will never abandon me.  You will never leave me.  You are truly all I need, and for this I am grateful, and I bless Your name.  My search is over for truly "with you, LORD, is unfailing love."
